R S Kulkarni Family Suffers Lack of Leader

Oh god! I cant remember when was the last time i blogged! I am back again to the blogging business after a long gap. Thought of posting immediately after coming back to bengaluru but couldnt collect all the materials required to post this very important post.

Ok guys before I start today's post i would like to announce that the contents of the post are just my opinions. It has got nothing to do with my family or your opinion. And also would like to make clear that this is not intended to hurt anybody's emotions.

As we all know we all got together on 1st and 2nd of this month (May 2011) to express our condolence  on death of Shri.Ranganath S Kulkarni(I used to call him ajja, rangannajja etc). I am very happy that a lot of people came and prayed that may his soul rest in peace. But the point is the expenses we got at the end of 13 days. Ok we know that all of ajjas children are economically very strong well settled in life. But Spending that much does it make any sense? Even I respect all the culture or sampradaya thing. But instead of spending 2 lakhs on anna dana if we would have spent half of it for some students and sick people, their family would have sung the songs of greatness of R S Kulkarni and his children, all through dharwad. My ajja's name would have become evergreen like govindajja. I think ajja would have never expected us to make such blunder mistake. I agree anna dana is also very good dana but it is to be done to people who deserve it; who are in need; then only the dana becomes satpatra dana. If we give dana to people who doesnt deserve that dana its like 'mangana kaiyalli maanikya'. Anna dana should be given to the sick to the needy.
I dont want to defend even my dad in this regard. Wrong indeed is wrong. 6 million children die yearly due to hunger. There are so many well educated people scholars in our whole kulkarni family i thought atleast one person will standup and suggest something good for the society. But none. I always thought of telling but since i am yougest of all they will blame that young generation has lost faith in dharma karma. Its not about dharma karma, its about doing things which fall in the category of humanity. Even I know how to do sandhyavandane, I also learnt vaayustuthi from ajja only. But dharma karma should not be a show-off thing. Cleanliness is what all madi is. We all need to think in a way which attends the call of present world. Ok whatever no use in stretching the things. We have already committed the mistake. I dont know what people of dharwad say but If anybody tells that we spent 2 lakhs for shraddha karma in any other part of the world people will either laugh or think it was the show arranged to show off our economical strength.

And the second point what i noted in the function that none other than rangannajja in our family had or has the capacity to gather so many relatives for a function just by his name. Rangannajja had such a great persona that just 1 call from him n all the relatives would attend his function. But now after him its distinctly visible to the outer world that none of his successors have that image, that persona which world hold the flag of R S Kulkarni family erect n upright. Its really annoying that there is no a single person who could lead our family like rangannajja did. So what I suggest to the elder ones in the family is, let us meet once and decide who is it going to be for our family after rangannajja.

I hope let our next leader make beloved Rangannajja proud with his worthy character, sensible thinking and humanitarian works.

Thank you all
Keep Reading

Even Swami Vivekananda says that a religion is all about being good and doing good to yourself and society.
Second point is, nobody can fit ajja's position as a leader.
